When Pavoni clients need email, broadband and networking support, I’m the person Sarah calls on.
Having your email systems, broadband and networking in full working order is business-critical. If your business isn’t large enough to justify having a dedicated IT department, getting me to set them up for you can save you a lot of time and energy.
I troubleshoot too. If, for example, all your settings are correct but some things aren’t working properly, I track down the problem – and resolve it for you. Maybe you can’t send outgoing messages from all your devices. Or it’s erratic and sometimes you can and sometimes you can’t. Or some email accounts (such as Hotmail) aren’t receiving your messages… Problems like this can be seriously frustrating when you’ve got a business to run. I spare you that frustration!
A bit about me
I’m not just your average IT person: when people have had the “Bruce” treatment they come away feeling helped, not patronised. I’ve always hated it when IT people look down on “normal” people who don’t understand, and promised myself from the outset that I’d do things differently. “We’re on your side” sounds like a cliché, but we really do try to help without being patronising. Hey, we’ve had to learn this stuff too, you know! Everyone in my team gets their ego surgically removed as part of their induction… We may understand IMAP ports, SSL encryption and multi-NAT port-forwarding, but that doesn’t make us any better than you.
When I’m not trying to make the world a better place using IT I’m usually to be found photographing things: a lifelong passion that drives my long-suffering wife mad. “We’ll just wait for the light”, “just one more shot to make sure I’ve bracketed the exposure correctly” and “hang on while I swap lenses” often heard…
